According to News International reports, Pakistan Cricket Board CEO Wasim Khan has confirmed that a scheduled series between Pakistan and Zimbabwe teams will be played in Multan and Rawalpindi stadiums.
Sources have confirmed that a three ODI matches will be played in Multan and rest of T20 matches will be staged in Rawalpindi.
Multan and Rawalpindi stadiums would be hosting cricket fans with International Cricketers.
All sops might be observed and important precautionary measures taken for the protection of both squads.
“there can be no compromise on it. we’ve learned so much from our England tour,” Wasim Khan stated.
Concerning the canceled south Africa excursion, Wasim said travelling in and out of south africa was strictly prohibited.
“the Covid-19 situation there’s very critical and as such its authorities has restricted tours. with any luck, matters will sorted quickly and the tour will go ahead.”
The legitimate stated except the Zimbabwe tour, the PCB is working on hosting extra series. “most importantly, the south African group will be in Pakistan to play assessments and three T20s in January.
we wanted to have more Test series, however the plan of bilateral series has already been chalked out until 2023. after that, we plan to have a longer series as it presents better chances for youngsters to learn and excel,” Wasim Khan said.

The development was made public through famend pakistani journalist saj sadiq on his twitter account.
“Rawalpindi will host the three T20 internationals in opposition to Zimbabwe while the 3 one-day internationals can be performed in Multan,” study Sadiq’s tweet.

The PCB is also planning to host the pending test against Bangladesh in October. “we are in touch with the Bangladesh cricket board and the check will most possibly be performed this season,” he stated.

In august 2020, the Pakistan cricket board (PCB) made an announcement that the scheduled tour is still going ahead as planned, and were preparing a bio-relaxed surroundings, due to the Covid-19 pandemic.
Initially, the PCB have been thinking about to host both the T20i and ODI formats at Qaddafi Stadium Lahore. But, in September 2020, it was announced that the T20 and ODI series might be held in Rawalpindi and Multan respectively.
Initially Zimbabwe was supposed to play only three T20 and 3 ODI matches but now they have appealed Pakistan Cricket Board to arrange some more matches for their team.
These ODI were part of ICC super league championship, but now they would be playing some extra matches also.
Earlier, Zimbabwe’s scheduled series of Australia for three one-day internationals in August had been postponed because of the Covid-19 pandemic.
The matches were to be played on August 9, 12 and 15 respectively but citing “concern for the health and safety of players, match officials, and volunteers”, Cricket Australia announced the series would not go ahead as planned earlier. However, the board said they would re-work the schedule.
