On Friday, Suddenly a news spread everywhere like a bush fire on various social media platforms that Shahid Afridi would Join PCB soon and will make a dazzling entry in the PCB rooms.
But some PCB sources are now categorically denying the facts about the Former Cricketer and star Shahid Khan Afridi for getting any role in PCB.
The news was circulated after a statement of a private channel’s anchor, that soon Shahid Afridi and Shoaib Akhtar would be seen in joining PCB and with some pivotal roles in the department.
However, a great news for Lala fans is that soon Boom Boom Afridi will be seen in action in Lanka Premier League organized and managed by Sri Lanka cricket board.

Shahid Afridi was named among the other star players including Colin Munro, Chris Gayle, Shakib Ul Hasan, Daren Sami, Ravi Bopara, Munaf Patel and Vernor Philander.
Former star player and skipper Shahid Khan Afridi was earlier named as the top and Star player of the Galle Gladiators.

The LPL auction is planned to be held on October 1. All franchises will be allowed to select at least six foreign players having different categories from multiple countries.
A total of 65 local cricketers will be selected for the 5 franchises, so that each team could have 19 players for back up options in case of injuries and other problems.
Wasim Akram and Vivan Richard are also part of discussion and now a days a hot topic to be discussed that whether they would be a part of LPL or not.
This Island isolated nation is not much effected by COVID-19 pandemic and have less than 200 active cases, so it can be assumed that the series will be played according to the schedule.
