Pakistan’s Prime Minister Imran Khan has said that he is in favor of depriving the perpetrators of rape and child sexual abuse of their sexual ability in the country and fresh legislation is needed in this regard.
He said that like murder, sexual offenses should be classified in the law and rapists should be sexually disqualified.
The statement by the Prime Minister of Pakistan came after a strong reaction to a recent incident of rape in Pakistan and protests in different parts of the country.
The incident took place near Lahore, where two men raped a woman waiting for help in their car on the side of the road last night after torturing her in front of her children.
The Prime Minister of Pakistan said in an interview with private TV channel 92 News on Monday that the incident has shaken the entire nation.
He said that one of the accused involved in the incident had been involved in gang rape in the past and fresh legislation was needed to deal with such people.
He said that like murder cases, rape should also be classified as a crime. Imran Khan said that in the case of rape, the perpetrators of ‘first degree’ should be disqualified through surgery.

Mr. Khan’s Suggestions
He said he had read that such punishment was being meted out in some parts of the world.
Prime Minister Imran Khan said that when he came to power, he was in favor of public execution in the face of rising sex crimes in the country, but he was advised that doing so could provoke a global reaction.
Imran Khan said, “I think they should be publicly hanged in a market .”
Imran Khan said that although he was in favor of public execution for this crime, he was told that trading sanctions could be imposed by European Union by doing this and it will impact Pakistan’s economic situation,
He said that a strict monitoring system should be established for these type of criminals.
This law amendment is very necessary as the criminal involved in this recent incident was already involved in a rape race
These type of culprits should be registered under Police stations and should be strictly monitored, Khan added.
The recent incident was widely criticized by social and political circles and police and police is under criticism by opposition parties.
Once again the demand of public execution was raised on social media after this unhappy incident.
However, PTI leader and Federal Minister for Science and Technology Fawad Chaudhry vehemently opposed such demands, citing the escalation of violence.

He said in a tweet that such statements by ministers and the educated class without hesitation were “a reflection of the violent thinking of our society, which sees violence as the solution to every problem.”
According to him, the claimants should not think that “anyone can be caught and hanged.”
He also said that those who demand Islamic punishment for such crimes do not understand the complexities of their procedure and it is not as easy as they think.

Pakistan-Administered Kashmir Already Following Khan’s Recommended Law
Legislative Assembly of Pakistan-administered Kashmir had unanimously passed an amendment bill on July 1, which approved other severe punishments, including deprivation of sexual ability for perpetrators of child rape.
Introducing the bill in the Legislative Assembly, Minister Ahmad Raza Qadri said that the law is strict but it is being enforced against a crime which is very inhuman.
He said that section 377-A has been amended in the bill which has three proposals to deprive a person who sexually abuses a child of sexual ability and also to impose any one of the death penalty and life imprisonment.
Ansar Burney, head of the Ansar Burney Trust, a human rights group, told the BBC at the time that he strongly condemned the legislation because it was ridiculous.
“You have made this legislation in a country where there is a separate law for the rich, a separate law for the poor and a separate law for the rulers. To me, it’s not only ridiculous, it’s a joke with justice and is its murder. “
In such a situation, any person can file a case against his opponent and get him punished.
Punish the perpetrators of such a heinous crime but do not make a spectacle of punishment.
